Join us as we celebrate 60 years of Central.  Here is detailed information about the evening’s festivities.

  • Please do not drop off your child.  The staff  will be busy chatting with current and former colleagues and students so we are unable to be responsible for your child’s supervision at this special event.  Thanks for your support and understanding.
  • 1950’s dress is encouraged but certainly not required!
  • Parking – all Central lots, 1st Presbyterian Church lot, YMCA
  • If you pre-ordered tickets and/or t-shirts, you may pick them up at the Rankin Loop entrance.
  • If you need to purchase meal, cake walk, popcorn, cotton candy, or root beer float tickets, enter at the northwest GYM entrance.  Please bring cash or checks payable to Central Middle School.  All proceeds benefit the programs and students of CMS!

Meals – $5

Root Beer Floats – $2.

Popcorn, Cake Walk, Cotton Candy – $1 each

Face painting – $5 paid at time of purchase with vendor

  • Our Tiger Spirit Store’s Grand Opening is Tonight  – Located across from the Main Office on the northeast side of the building. Purchase  your 60th Anniversary t-shirts and lightweight hoodies along with Tiger Gear here – while supplies last!
  • Come and Go from 5 – 8 p.m.
    • Dinner served in the cafeteria (The Tiger Diner!) 5 – 7:30 p.m. – until we run out! : )
    • Cake Walk, Popcorn and Cotton Candy in the Courtyard
    • Sock Hop, Photo Booth, and Face Painting in the Gym
    • Visit the Courtyard to see our 60th Anniversary Mural designed and created by our own Irving Macias, 8th grader
    • Silent Auction in Tiger’s Den – all proceeds benefit the programs and students of CMS!  Thank you for your generosity.
      • Bidding closes at 7:15 p.m. – Cash or Check only.
      • Winners announced in cafeteria at 7:30 p.m.
  • Want to connect with people from your high school, mid-high, or middle school days?  Or want to connect with former colleagues?
    • Mini class reunions will take place throughout the building all night:
      • Students and staff members of Central from  ‘56 – ‘85  – 5:30 – 6:00 (Room numbers will be posted at entrances.)
      • Students and staff members of Central from ‘ 86 – ‘15 –  6:30 – 7:00  (Room numbers will be posted at entrances.)

    • 6:00 – Honoring of Distinguished Guests including Former Central Principals
    • 6:20 – Central’s Orchestra  Students – Director, Kara Koehn
