We are thrilled to recognize Mr. Jonathan Kerby as Central Middle School’s 2025–2026 Teacher of the Year!
Mr. Kerby teaches Multimedia to our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. While some may know him as the man behind the camera or a passionate Knicks fan, to our students, he’s a dynamic educator who brings learning to life every single day.
Mr. Kerby is the driving force behind the student-led Tiger TV program, helping students build skills in broadcasting, storytelling, and digital media. Beyond the classroom, Coach Kerby dedicates his time and energy to coaching our Cross Country and eSports teams—leading them to success with enthusiasm and heart. He also serves as Assistant Boys Soccer Coach at Memorial High School, further demonstrating his commitment to student growth both on and off the field. Mr. Kerby’s passion, creativity, and dedication shine through in all he does.
